AANP Teaching Rounds

Please Note: There is a delay between registering for the activity and receiving access to the series in Path LMS, the learning management system. You must be registered prior to 4:00 PM Mountain Time the day before a session in order for access to be guaranteed.

 The American Association of Neuropathologists Teaching Rounds with Digital Slide Review is a regularly scheduled series that occurs the 4th week of the month alternating between Mondays and Wednesdays. Please note: Beginning in 2025 the time of AANP Teaching Rounds will be different on Mondays versus Wednesdays.

• Monday sessions will occur from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Eastern Time (10:00 am Central, 9:00 am Mountain and 8:00 am Pacific Time)
• Wednesday sessions will occur from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Eastern Time (11:00 am Central, 10:00 am Mountain and 9:00 am Pacific Time)

Sessions are accessed via Path LMS. Maria Martinez-Lage, MD and Angelica Oviedo, MD are the Co-Course Directors.

Annual registration is $50.00 for AANP members (non-trainees), $100.00/year for non-members, and free for all trainees (member and non-member). 

Each month registrants can expect to receive an e-mail with access instructions and the session information. Please check your "Spam" or "Junk" e-mail folder for the e-mails. Even if you don't receive the email, once registered, you should always have access the the monthly session in Path LMS.

Please note that only the live session is accredited for CME; credit may not be claimed for watching the recording.

1. Discuss recent advances in the field of neuropathology that impact research and practice.
2. Cite 2-3 examples of new information on the underlying etiologies and mechanisms of neurologic disease.
3. Explain how to translate the latest developments in neuropathology into clinical practice.
