Location and Hotel Reservations
The 2010 meeting will be held at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19107 (Phone: 215-627-1200). The hotel is located in downtown Philadelphia. Area attractions include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Philadelphia Zoo, The Franklin Institute Science Museum, Fairmount Park, and numerous fine eateries. Amenities include a heated lap pool, spa and fitness center, gift shop, pet walking and sitting service and valet parking. Valet parking is $38.00 overnight. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out is at noon.
If you have not already made your room reservations at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel please do so prior to May 10, 2010 to ensure that you get a room at the meeting rate. Room rates are $209.00 for single and double occupancy. Please make your reservations at the Loews Hotels website.
Transportation to and from the hotel:
The hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport and 5 minutes from the 30th Street Amtrak Station. A taxi from the airport will charge a flat rate of $25.00. Public transportation is also available.
Driving Directions (per hotel website):
I-95 from the North (Trenton, Betsy Ross Bridge):
- Follow 95 South to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia)
- Follow signs for 676 West
- Continue on 676 to the Broad Street exit
- Make first left onto Vine Street
- Follow Vine to third light (12th Street) and make a right
- Pass the Convention Center
- Cross Market Street
- Entrance and valet parking on right-hand side.
I-95 from the South (Delaware, Maryland, Philadelphia International Airport):
- Follow 95 North to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia)
- Follow signs for 676 West
- Continue on 676 to the Broad Street exit
- Continue onto 15th Street
- Follow 15th Street through seven traffic lights (City Hall on left)
- Continue around City Hall
- Make right onto Market Street
